Rupert Murdock-owned publishing company put an end to her work this way, "Judith Regan's employment with HarperCollins has been terminated effective immediately," Jane Friedman, chief executive of the News Corp-owned imprint, said. "The Regan publishing programme and staff will continue as part of the HarperCollins General Books Group."
Since 1994, Judith has been running ReaganBooks imprint at HarperCollins. She has published the likes of Jose Canseco's tell-all book, Jenna Jamison's How to Make Love Like a Porn Star. Among other writers she published, Jess Walter, Wally Lamb are some of the few others who saw their books turning into bestsellers. One thing to say is that she did not lack controversy during her tenure at the imprint. Most of her titles caused controversy and a lot of gossip which the gossip journalists liked a lot.
